The Stolen Idea

So, we are going to agree 2020 didn't happen and that I completely didn't abandon this good idea. 2021 has now arrived so lets try this again...

I feel lucky about the life I have made. It contains a great partner, stable job, and family I only see every couple of holidays. Frankly, I have very little to complain about. What I do need to be honest about is this stuck in neutral feeling.

I can point to a few reasons and make some lame excuses, but the fault is completely mine. I've toyed blogging before, but that car always ran out of gas immediately. So here is attempt twenty-seven at some accountability, a bit of life journaling, and many horrendous grammar mistakes.

The reason for this attempt is because in 2019 I found something that resonated with me in a way I can't explain. Yes, good things do come from Facebook (No I am not being held hostage by Zuckerberg). A friend posted about her blog which details completing goals during that year. Her plan is to complete about an item a month from a list of 100. She has been doing this for almost a decade. Check out her blog here. She has done a ton cool things and has actual writing ability.

Also, if you ever read this Megan (and remember me from high school) my social awkwardness did eventually pass (mostly).

I've created a list of 100 things to accomplish. Many of them are health related as they are more controllable while 2021 is still up in the air. Other goals are to learn something new, stolen verbatim from Megan because we both like cool things, or just for fun. Each time something is completed I will add a new post, some photos, and descriptions of what happened. Not all posts will be about "The List" but many will be.

So, if the internet directed you here and you like the idea.... STEAL IT. Start accomplishing things that make your life better. Also steal from Megan, because let's be honest, her output is better than anything on this train wreck.
